Administrator rights

Discover what an Administrator can do with entered data, forms, users, groups and account management.

Concrete case

You are an Administrator of your Kizeo Forms account, or you are about to appoint a colleague to this position. You want to know exactly what this profile allows you to do and how it differs from other profiles.

A profile without restrictions

Unlike the Group Leader, the Administrator is not limited to a specific scope and does not need any particular rights: they have access to the entire account and all menus of the web interface. Everything they create belongs to the Company Account group, located at the top of the user groups hierarchy.

⚠️ Important

This profile grants full rights over the account: Reserve it for people responsible for account management.

Entered data

The Administrator can view, export, edit and delete data entered by all users on the account, across all forms. Data they delete from the web interface also disappears from the user's mobile application after a refresh.

⚠️ Important

To enter data themselves, the Administrator must also have the User profile, and therefore a license.

Forms

The Administrator can create, edit, copy and delete all forms on the account, and manage their access rights, regardless of their owner group.

The forms they create belong by default to the Company Account group: only Administrators can edit them. They can change the owner group using the [Change owner] button on the [My forms] page, so that a Group Leader can edit them in turn.

They are also the only ones who can restore a deleted form, along with all its data.

Users and groups

The Administrator can perform the following actions, described in Manage your users:

  • create, edit, deactivate and delete all users on the account, including other Administrators and profiles owned by the Company Account group,

  • edit custom fields for multiple users at once (a feature reserved for Administrators),

  • create, edit and delete all groups of users,

  • appoint Group Leaders and define their rights.

Account management

The Administrator is the only profile with access to the My account Settings submenu of the My administration interface menu. There, they manage in particular:

  • account settings,

  • custom user fields,

  • subscription and licenses,

  • authorization of two-factor authentication for the entire company.

ℹ️ Good to know

Support requests must be submitted by an Administrator of the account, with all references necessary for the analysis.
