To use the Kizeo Forms API (Web Service), you must authenticate yourself with a token. Its validity period can be up to 2 years.
1. Prerequisites
API token creation is only available for accounts with at least one active license. It is not accessible during a trial period.
Who can create a token?
Only an Administrator can create a token.
Who can it be assigned to?
When creating a token, the Administrator chooses the token recipient. This can be:
an Administrator (including themselves);
a Group Leader.
👉 If your account does not have an active license or is in a trial period, you can request a token from our support team. See the tutorial Request a token to find out how to proceed.
2. Creation steps
Go to the My account Settings menu, then click on the API Tokens tab.
Click on Select a user, then choose the Administrator or Group Leader to assign the token to.
Click on + Create a token.
Enter a name for your token, then click Create. For example,
admin_token api_20260929A window displays your token: it consists of the name entered, followed by a secure key.
⚠️ Important
Copy your token immediately. For security reasons, it will no longer be viewable once the window is closed.
3. Using the token
Your token allows you to make requests to the Kizeo Forms API, for example:
advanced search in data;
media retrieval;
updating advanced lists;
etc.
