Restore a deleted form

Recover a form deleted by mistake in just a few clicks, along with all the data associated with it.

Did you delete a form by mistake? Don't panic. Kizeo Forms keeps deleted forms in a dedicated space, accessible from your account settings. This feature allows you to restore the complete form along with all the saved data, without any loss of information.

Prerequisites

  • You must be an Administrator of the Kizeo Forms account to access the trash for deleted forms and perform a restoration.

  • This action is only available from a browser. It is not accessible from the mobile application.

Step 1 — Access the list of deleted forms

  1. Log in to your Kizeo Forms account from your browser.

  2. Click on Kizeo Forms Settings in the left navigation menu.

  3. Click on Tools in the submenu that appears.

  4. Click the red button Show deleted forms.

Step 2 — Identify the Form to restore

The Deleted Forms list is displayed. For each Form, it shows:

  • The name of the Form, followed by its deletion date in parentheses (e.g.: &20260826095446)

  • The section it belonged to, displayed as a group header

  • The number of records associated with the Form

ℹ️ Information — The date in parentheses in the Form name corresponds to the date and time of deletion, in the format &YYYYMMDDHHMMSS (year, month, day, hour, minute, second).

For example, &20260826095446 means the Form was deleted on August 26, 2026 at 9:54 PM. This date helps you identify the correct version if the same Form was deleted multiple times.

💡 Tip — Use the Search field at the top right to quickly find a Form if the list is long. You can also check Show main group first to group Forms by their original section.

Step 3 — Restore the Form

  1. Locate the Form to restore in the list.

  2. Check the Records column to verify the number of associated data entries that will be restored.

  3. Click on the red Recover button on the line of the relevant Form.

The form is immediately restored and reappears in your My Forms list, under its original name followed by (recovered).

ℹ️ Information — The Form is restored identically. Nothing is lost, nothing needs to be reconfigured.

Restored elements:

  • Form structure

  • Saved data

  • Belonging category

  • User access rights

  • Custom exports

  • Automations (auto push, auto transfer ...)

⚠️ Warning — Deleted forms are kept for a maximum of 3 months. After this period, they are permanently deleted and restoration is no longer possible.
